Indexes

Gippsland Heritage Journal is being progressively indexed.

Previously indexes have been issued for:

1-5        Was out of print, but a small quantity were recently located. Useful if you wish to have issues 1-5 bound, and an index bound with them. $5.00 posted.

1-10      Only a small number of copies remain, at $6.00 posted.
             It will ultimately be available on the internet.

11-15    Was originally issued as a paperback. It is now out of print and will not be reprinted. It is, however, available on the web.

16-20    This index is currently being compiled, and will be available soon on the internet.

            Currently indexes to No. 16 and No.17 have been placed online for testing purposes.

            New indexes will later be combined until one index to 16-20 is available.

Policy on Lookups and Enquiries:

Gippsland Heritage Journal is unable to provide a detailed lookups and enquiries service. It is possible to ascertain the article that a reference appears in by reference to the Contents.

Some back issues of the Journal are still available

Full sets of the Journal are held in the National and Victorian State Library, the Centre for Gippsland Studies at Monash University Gippsland Campus and the Wellington Library Service. Various issues are held in a number of Family and Local Historical Societies throughout Gippsland, the East Gippsland Library Service, the Genealogical Society of Victoria, the Australian Institute of Genealogical Studies (Melbourne) and the Royal Historical Society of Victoria.
